Highly Flexible Low Power ESL System for Local and Independent Deployment
Nowadays, more retail chains, supermarket operators,and system integrators prefer smart tagging solutions that support full local deployment, private server control, and secondary development. The biggest advantage of our electronic shelf label system lies in its high openness and controllability. Customers have two flexible deployment options. They can directly adopt our mature, ready-to-use management software for fast project launching. Alternatively, they can completely abandon our official platform and independently develop their own management software according to their business logic. Regardless of which solution customers choose, all software programs are deployed on the customer’s own local servers. The entire system runs independently without accessing our cloud, without background intervention, and without any remote control from our side. Once delivered, the devices and local system are fully managed and controlled by the customer.
To meet diverse integration requirements, our system supports complete local offline operation. The SDK and middleware API can be fully applied in a local environment, completely independent of our software platform and free from any connection with our cloud server. This local operation mode ensures that all data transmission and device management are completed within the customer’s private network, greatly improving data security and system stability.
In terms of signal connection, our base station supports exclusive connection to the customer’s local MQTT Broker and local server. All communication can be completed inside the local area network, and the system normally updates tag data without internet access. This fully meets the internal network management requirements of supermarkets, retail stores, and corporate internal systems that restrict external network access.
For data docking and secondary development, we provide complete supporting data information. Every Electronic Price Tag and E-paper Display Label purchased from our company comes with complete MAC address, barcode information, and exclusive ESL sign and device key, all provided free of charge for customer system integration and data binding.
Customers can independently configure all base station parameters to match their local server and MQTT Broker, realizing autonomous network matching and self-built system access. In terms of development assistance, we offer Java and .NET sample demo projects to help customers accelerate testing and development progress. These demo resources are available at an additional charge, helping development teams quickly get started with function verification and project docking.
In actual screen refreshing and data transmission, both the SDK and middleware adopt an image transmission rendering method. Customers can independently generate display images through their own system logic and directly push the content to the base station to complete screen updates on E Ink Price Tag devices. This open rendering method brings extremely high flexibility for personalized screen templates and customized display content.
It is worth noting that for large-batch price updates and mass device operations, functions such as task queuing, failure automatic retry, and execution confirmation need to be independently developed and deployed by customers. This design fully follows the principle of independent privatization, ensuring that all operation logic and data scheduling are completely mastered by the customer’s local system.
Although the current communication protocol does not support MQTT over TLS and other encrypted transmission methods, our Low Power ESL system still ensures stable and efficient local transmission in closed local network environments. With ultra-low power consumption, long battery life, high display stability and highly open development interfaces, our ESL series provides a truly autonomous, controllable, and infinitely expandable smart retail hardware solution for system integrators and large retail enterprises.
